Established in 1984, the Virginia Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (VAGARA) serves as a vibrant link in promoting the value of archival and records management practices at both the state and local levels.
VAGARA is governed by an executive board who are elected for two-year terms by the association membership. The immediate past president serves as an ex-officio member of the board. Members of the board are appointed to subcommittees to plan the annual conference, award scholarships, publish a quarterly newsletter, and promote membership in the association. |
